This Hand Dyed Yarn uses 55% Blue Faced Leicester superwash wool  combined with 45% Silk  The Blue Faced Leicester sheep breed used is British and is well known for producing some of the finest British yarns and combining it with silk gives a luxurious decadent feel  making it wonderful to work with. This versatile yarn can be used for a wide range of garments including socks and will give you the most wonderful feeling of luxury.  For that extra touch, double strand with our complimentary range of Suri Silk Haze to give that fluffy "Halo" effect.

This yarn has been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed. It is a great easy-care yarn.
