What are the washing instructions for the yarn ?All our superwash yarn can be put in the washing machine on the gentle/wool cycle, however we feel it is kinder to handwash in luke warm water with a mild detergent or wool wash and lay flat to dry. Although every care has been taken during the process to remove any residue dye, occasionally a small amount may remain, therefore we recommend washing your item separately the first couple of times. Washing instructions can also be found in each product page.

Do you have any tips when working with the yarn? There is always a variation between each skein and although each skein within a colour way will look the same, there will always be a slight difference due to the nature of hand dyeing. If you buy a batch of the same colour we recommend that you alternate your skeins. This means knitting a few rows in one skein and alternating it with another throughout the whole project. You can carry the yarn up the side of your project and it won't be noticed. This way you will get more of an even colour in your project and you won't notice where one skein has ended and the next one begun.
